I believe a lot of dislike together with the crafting system

I like New Horizons, however, the issue that lots of players have is that the ongoing issue that the animal personalities are a lot more dull compared to older games. Should you watch footage from the Gamecube version, you will see that animals were a lot more"spicy" with respect to how they talked to you. Oftentimes, they were actually quite impolite - alerting you if you refused to assist them/do some thing for them. This was toned down when Wild World was released, but animals weren't overly friendly as they're in New Leaf/New Horizons.
I believe the island development resources in New Horizons are fantastic, but my main reason for enjoying the sport is to befriend my critters. There's no obstacle to it because everyone is really friendly off-the-bat, even the personalities like cranky/snooty (where they are meant to be more stand-offish with you initially ). In addition, it feels like there's a whole lot of repetitious dialogue in NH, where this was not true from the old games (not including City Folk or New Leaf).
They have also apparently removed a feature where animals would visit your home at a specific time. It was a nice method for gamers who don't have the ability to go online to get visitors look at their home. There was also a consequence to not turning up on time: it'd make the animal angry and your friendship would have a small hit.
I really like the tagging system, however I know that some people really don't like it. I think that the biggest complaint I have noticed is that gold tools have lost their prestige as they're no more unbreakable like from the last games. That's pretty much exactly what made them unique, so it sounds a little pointless to craft themgiven that golden nuggets are a rarer resource.
I believe a lot of dislike together with the crafting system isn't the crafting itself more like the lack of QOL stuff within it. Mainly how it wastes your time with not having the ability to craft many things at once.
